Blogs go inactive for a variety of reasons I'm sure, but I've often (often) wondered this:
How may blogs are still up that have owners that are now dead?
Sometimes I'll run across a blog that hasn't been updated since 2005 and wonder if that person is still alive.
I guess if I encountered a blog entitled "Beating Cancer" with the most recent post being Feb 2, 2004, I'd be safe in assuming the worst. But how about if I found one called "Traveling to Europe" by an excited younger person, with the most recent post from 2006 being "My first flight in an airplane" uh-oh.
Me? I'm in very good health thank you.
By the way I thought of a funny cartoon.
One panel with caption. Two older ladies walking in a cemetery one is saying to the other (while pointing):
"Over there's where I buried Edgar; in the cancer survivors section"
